PCS Connects
-
PCS Connects is Pinellas County School’s one-to-one student device initiative. All students in grades three through ten will be assigned a Dell laptop to use during the school day and at home. Students in grades K-2 and 11-12 will have access to technology during the school day. Digital resources will be embedded in daily face-to-face instruction to facilitate research, creation, critical thinking, and collaboration. The devices will also be available to extend learning after school hours for enrichment and reinforcement of the curriculum.
District Content Specialists create exciting enrichment opportunities for students to access outside the school day. Information can be found on our Level Up Page
Students will be expected to bring their laptops to class each day fully charged and ready for learning. In addition, students are expected to take good care of their assigned device and report any problems to their teacher immediately.

How can I access Canvas to see what my child is working on?
Parents/Guardians can be given observer rights in Canvas so they can support their child in their class(es). If your child is in elementary school, you will need to reach out to their teacher for help in setting this up. If your child is in middle or high school, you can work with them to create the observer account and link it to their own student account in Canvas. Instructions are given in our "Supporting Your Child in Canvas 101" course. Visit the Parent/Family Canvas Login
