Hello Pasadena Fundamental community

I am thrilled to have been tapped to lead your legendary school effective July 1, 2025. I am enthusiastic about this new opportunity and looking forward to join your team. I will work tirelessly to continue traditions of excellence that define you as school community. I also recognize that school improvement happens when we embrace new ideas too. There is no one warehouse for great ideas!

I will begin my 28th year in Pinellas County Schools next year (19th as a Principal). I’ve served Madeira Beach Fundamental School for the past 16 years where my focus has been student achievement, and sustaining a positive school environment. I want students to want to come to school!

Earlier in my career, I served as principal of Lakeview Fundamental Elementary and even a short stint as your acting Principal. I was an Assistant Principal at Southside Fundamental Middle School and an elementary classroom teacher at Lealman and Maximo Elementary.  

Our success all these years is possible because of great students and families, and of course, the school faculty!

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Principal Donita Moody for her leadership and years of dedicated service to you all at Pasadena Fundamental. I have known Donita for many years. I wish her the very best in her new role and as I like to say, It’s just see you later, not good bye.”

I have begun the transition process between schools, and as schedules allow me to meet you, I will. I am planning to stop in today for a short visit. I will provide you all with a quick survey soon, helping me get to know you.  But not today.
